Lily and Jake

Everyone loves a relaxed and fun wedding, right? Picture this: a stunning bride and groom, surrounded by their loved ones, laughing and dancing the night away. Well, that’s exactly what I had the pleasure of capturing recently as a photographer.

The day started with bridal prep at the family farmhouse, followed by a beautiful church wedding, filled with love. Lily looked breathtaking in her gown, and Jake couldn’t hide his excitement holding little William. The ceremony was heartfelt and intimate, with friends and family shedding tears of joy.

Sailcloth tent of dreams

After the ceremony, everyone gathered at the family farm for the reception. And let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing. Imagine a sailcloth tent, adorned with twinkling lights and stunning flowers. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for celebrating such a special day.

Glasses clinked and laughter filled the air as guests enjoyed a Pimms or 3! The rain played ball and stopped after 30 minutes so we could enjoy the sunshine and scenery for couples’ photos.

And let’s not forget about the food! Mouthwatering delicacies were served, each dish bursting with flavour. It was a delightful feast that satisfied even the most discerning palate. I couldn’t resist capturing these delectable dishes before they disappeared from the plates. Hats off to Ryan Finch and the team for a gorgeous meal.

To top it all off, the sound of country music filled the reception before the main band had even done their mic check. I’ve never seen a dance floor so packed whilst the band did sound checks.

As a photographer, I was in my element capturing all these special moments. From the tender embraces to the roaring laughter, each photo tells a unique story. The smiles on the faces of the bride and groom, their families, and friends are proof that this day will be cherished forever.

In the end, it was the combination of a traditional church wedding, a relaxed and inviting atmosphere at the family farm, lots of wine, great food, and the lively sounds of country music that made this wedding absolutely unforgettable. It was an honor to be a part of such a joyous occasion and to capture these memories for generations to come.
